Update Legacy Software for Windows 10

I’m looking to breathe new life into an industry-specific application that currently runs only on Windows 7. I have the complete source code as well as the original installation media, so you’ll have full access to everything that was used to build and deploy the program the first time around. The scope is straightforward: keep every existing feature—customer, job, record and accounting management, along with the built-in reporting tools—while ensuring the program installs cleanly and runs reliably on Windows 10 (and ideally Windows 11). No new functionality is required; stability and compatibility are the priorities. Key deliverables • Compile and package an updated build that installs and operates on Windows 10. • Address any deprecated libraries or APIs causing compatibility issues. • Provide a brief technical hand-off document outlining the changes you made and instructions for future maintenance. I’ll supply the current binaries, source tree, and any build scripts the moment we start. If you prefer upgrading in place, that’s fine; if a clean rebuild is more efficient, outline your approach and we can agree on it before coding begins.
