Hands-On Web/Mobile QA Testing

I’m looking for a full-time QA partner to dive deep into both our web platform and our companion iOS and Android apps, with the primary goal of uncovering bugs through exploratory, hands-on testing. About 70-80 % of your day will be spent actively using the product on desktop browsers as well as on real Android phones/tablets and iPhones/iPads, pushing every screen, workflow and edge case you can find. Although we already have a small suite of automated checks, the real value I need right now is the human eye—creative test scenarios, quick context switches, clear reproduction steps, annotated screenshots or screen recordings, and well-structured tickets in Jira (or a comparable tracker). If you spot an issue that begs for a quick script, feel free to build it, but automation is secondary at this stage. I’ve budgeted roughly $15 per hour and expect a true full-time commitment, so reliable availability and timely communication are essential. Daily stand-ups happen over Slack, and we run on two-week sprints; your test scope will follow that cadence. Deliverables I will review at the end of each sprint: • A consolidated bug report (Jira tickets linked, severity and environment noted). • A short smoke-test checklist showing the main areas covered on web, iOS and Android. • A concise summary of any high-risk areas needing extra developer attention.
