RFID Attendance & SMS Alerts

I’m building a full-stack RFID attendance and security platform for our senior high school. Each time a student taps an RFID card at any gate or door, the system must automatically: • log the exact time in the attendance database • send an SMS to the parent for both the student’s arrival and departure • compare the location against a permissions table and instantly flag any unauthorized entry attempt for staff review All alerts go out by text message only; no app or email channels are required. I need a developer (or team) who can integrate RFID readers, a backend database, and an SMS gateway, then wrap it in a simple web dashboard where we can enrol cards, manage student/parent records, view real-time logs, and export attendance reports. Reliability is critical: missed taps or delayed texts are unacceptable. Deliverables • Source code for reader firmware (if used), backend, and frontend • Database schema and seed data for students, parents, schedules, and access zones • SMS gateway integration with retry logic • Admin dashboard with search, filters, and CSV export • Deployment guide and basic user manual Completion is confirmed once test cards consistently trigger the correct log entry, the parent receives the SMS within a few seconds, and unauthorized attempts appear in the security queue. If you have relevant experience with RFID hardware, PHP/Laravel or Node, MySQL/PostgreSQL, and Twilio or a comparable SMS API, I’d love to see your plan and timeframe.
