Business Development Partner – Accounting & Bookkeeping Firm | 30% Revenue Share

I am a Chartered Accountant (CA) running an accountancy firm that provides bookkeeping, accounting, and related financial services to businesses. I primarily focus on the technical and professional side of the business. However, networking, marketing, lead generation, and client acquisition are not areas I actively pursue. I am therefore looking to collaborate with an enthusiastic individual who can take responsibility for business development and help bring new clients to the firm. This is an opportunity to work independently, generate business, and earn a recurring share of the revenue generated from the clients you bring in. What Will You Be Doing? Your primary responsibility will be to identify, approach, and acquire potential clients for the firm. This may include: Identifying potential customers such as startups, small businesses, entrepreneurs, and established businesses. Generating leads through networking, LinkedIn, social media, cold outreach, referrals, email marketing, and other suitable channels. Communicating our bookkeeping, accounting, and related services to prospective clients. Understanding clients' basic requirements and coordinating with me to convert suitable prospects into paying clients. Maintaining relationships with the clients you introduce to the firm. Who Am I Looking For? Someone from a non-accounting background, preferably with an interest or experience in sales, marketing, business development, or lead generation. A basic understanding of bookkeeping and accounting services is desirable, or a willingness to learn the fundamentals. Someone who can understand what businesses need and communicate how our services can help them. Good communication and client-handling skills. Someone proactive, independent, and comfortable approaching potential customers. You do not need to be an accountant or possess any formal accounting qualification. I will provide the necessary information about our services so that you can confidently communicate our offerings to prospective clients.

Compensation

30% Revenue Sharing This is a performance-based opportunity with no fixed salary. The compensation structure is as follows: You will receive 30% of the net professional fees actually collected by the firm from every client you successfully introduce and bring on board. This revenue share will continue for the first 12 months from the commencement of each client's engagement. Commission will be calculated and paid monthly. GST, refunds, and third-party expenses will be excluded when calculating the commission. For example, if a client you bring generates ₹20,000 in monthly professional fees, your commission will be ₹6,000 per month for the applicable 12-month period. The more clients you acquire, the greater your earning potential.
