# Complete Website Redesign – CoffeeCup Site Designer Specialist Required ## Project Overview We are a UK-based electronics manufacturing and industrial electronic repair company looking for an experienced website designer to undertake a **complete redesign and rebuild of our existing website**. Our current website is outdated in its appearance, layout and navigation. We want a modern, professional website that better reflects our technical capabilities, builds customer confidence and generates enquiries. **This is a complete redesign, not a cosmetic refresh.** We have already undertaken significant planning and can provide existing website content, company branding, photographs and guidance on the proposed structure. We are looking for a freelancer who can turn this into a professional, fully functioning website. ## Essential Requirement – CoffeeCup Site Designer **The entire website MUST be designed and built using CoffeeCup Site Designer.** This is non-negotiable. We use CoffeeCup Site Designer internally and need to be able to maintain and develop the completed website ourselves. The finished project must allow us to: - Edit text and replace images. - Add new pages using existing layouts. - Modify navigation and links. - Make minor design changes. - Export the website for uploading to our own hosting. The complete, native, editable CoffeeCup Site Designer project files must be supplied. **Exported HTML/CSS files alone are not acceptable.** Please confirm which version of CoffeeCup Site Designer you use and provide examples of relevant work. ## Website Scope The project covers our complete website, initially estimated at approximately **15–20 content pages**, subject to final review. The website serves two distinct customer groups. ### Electronics Manufacturing – B2B Services include: - PCB assembly and testing. - Custom cable assemblies and wiring harnesses. - Box build and electromechanical assembly. - Prototype and small-batch electronics manufacturing. - Repeat production and ongoing manufacturing support. These pages should be modern, image-led and designed to encourage enquiries from engineering and purchasing professionals. ### Industrial Electronic Repairs Services include: - Industrial electronic equipment repairs. - PCB and electronic control board repairs. - Repair services covering a range of industrial equipment and applications. - Specialist repair services and service exchange. The existing repair pages have established search engine visibility. Their content, page addresses and SEO structure must be handled carefully during the redesign. ### General Pages The project will also include the homepage, contact information, relevant company information and essential supporting pages. The final page list will be agreed before development starts. ## Design Requirements We are looking for: - A completely redesigned, modern and professional appearance. - Consistent branding and visual identity throughout. - Clear separation between manufacturing and repair services while maintaining a unified website. - Responsive layouts for desktop, tablet and mobile. - Clear navigation and logical page structure. - Effective calls to action and contact/enquiry options. - Use of our own photography rather than generic stock images wherever possible. - Professional typography, spacing and page layouts. - Fast-loading, accessible pages. - Reusable design elements to simplify future maintenance. We prefer a clean, contemporary engineering and technology style rather than unnecessary animation or complicated visual effects. ## SEO Requirements Preserving existing organic search performance is particularly important. The freelancer must: - Preserve existing page URLs wherever possible. - Maintain or improve heading structure and metadata. - Retain important existing content unless changes are agreed. - Ensure appropriate internal linking. - Identify any proposed URL changes. - Provide details of any redirects required. - Avoid unnecessary changes to existing SEO-relevant content. We have separate SEO support and will coordinate the final implementation. ## Functional Requirements The website will require: - Working navigation and internal links. - Contact and enquiry forms. - Mobile-friendly telephone and email links. - Appropriate privacy and legal pages. - Integration with any existing functionality identified during the project. Any functionality that cannot be implemented within CoffeeCup Site Designer must be clearly identified before work begins. ## Deliverables On completion, we require: 1. Any additional editable design files created. 5. A complete working copy of the website for testing. 6. Details of any third-party dependencies or licences. 7. All agreed bespoke work and deliverables must become our property following final payment.
